#1001 Narutaki iro tomae

Dark, brooding, super dense and mysterious looking razor
hone from the Narutaki mine. With natural kawa skin on three
sides and the back you get the picture that it was teased out
of a nook in the mines strata. Highly compressed it is difficult
to extract a slurry from the stone, even when using a diamond
plate, but once you do so you can, as I did, create a perfectly
keen edge directly after a bevel set with a 2k Shapton Pro.

The arrow straight namazu solid filled inclusion hints of the
Nakayama mine, I am attributing this stone to the Naurtaki
because of the lack of the black sparkling element in the kawa
that leads towards Nakayama. In any case I am offering a
125% money back guarantee that once you try out this stone
you will not return it. I believe in this stones capabilities so
much after my testings that you will find the same.

The stone (toishi) has been lapped flat and the
corners and edges beveled unless otherwise noted.
One corner on the back is under-cut which makes it
thinner at that area. Only years of use will affect the use
of the stone
All of my stones come with a tested and appropriately
sized tomonaguara slurry stone, and a money back
guarantee minus the return shipping.
