#229 Narutaki suita bench stone
Large full size bench stone that in a mottled green asagi color, this
by definition of a very fine su or ancient gas void pattern is a suita
stone but I myself would call this a tomae strata asagi stone all day long.
The su pattern is scattered and not very regular and there is
also a transparent yaki tan cloud pattern. All in all an extremely
handsome stone that is homogeneous from side to side and front
to back, super smooth lifetime size stone that would be a final stone
for any tool or knife.
The ink stamps on the top simply read Sho Hon Awase Toishi (true
original natural stone)
The stone (toishi) has been lapped perfectly flat and the corners and
edges beveled unless otherwise noted. All of my stones come with a
tested and appropriately sized tomonaguara slurry stone, and a money
back guarantee minus the return shipping.
