Okudo varicolored suita #368

Lovely mellow light buff color stone with a varicolored foggy pattern reminiscent of a the
Nakayama mine from which the location of the closed Okudo mine was just up the road
a short distance.  An excellent razor hone or final tool hone that can be use with clear
water or a slurry made with a tomonagura or a diamond plate. I have shaved from this
stone with perfect comfort and closeness and I have tool tested this stone, it is fast and
leaves a high polish finish and all in all a real pleasure to use.

I will include a tested and matching tomonagura with this stone.

There are inclusions as you can see in this stone, they are all tight and contain softer
alternate minerals and to not scratch the blade or affect sharpening in any way. I do
however because of these inclusions suggest that the stone be sealed on the sides with
Spar Varnish. I can do this for you if you wish at no charge.

The toishi has been lapped perfectly flat, the sides dressed and the corners and edges
beveled unless otherwise noted.  All of my stones come with a money back guarantee
minus the shipping.
