#463 Unknown Suita
I am designating this suita as a pre finish stone for razor or as a final
stone for striking chisels or knives. It is fairly soft but is grit rich so a lot of
cutting goes on right from the. The circular kan pattern is reminiscent
of some of those from the Nakayama mine but I would only suggest that if
it is was from that mine that it would have been from a shallower and
minor layer. Very wide profile for razors
The stone (toishi) has been lapped perfectly flat and the corners and
edges beveled unless otherwise noted. All of my stones come with a tested
and appropriately sized tomonaguara slurry stone, and a back
guarantee minus the return shipping.
