#498 Narutaki tomae

This yellow kiita is from a shallower layer, probably the
tenjyou, or hachimai. A much more pleasing and mellow
color than my photos show it to be, it is a fast cutting stone
and I suggest especially good for knives. It will hone a razor
but should be considered a pre-polisher these, or a finishing
stone for knives. One corner is seriously under-cut and the
price reflects this, beyond that flaw everything else is top
class. This kiita will leave a highly defined contrast on
laminated steels when used on just clear water.

The stone (toishi) has been lapped flat and the
corners and edges beveled unless otherwise noted. All of
my stones come with a tested and appropriately sized
tomonaguara slurry stone, and a money back guarantee
minus the return shipping.
