#721 Shobudani figured suita
This figured pattern suita is from a medium shallow layer so
it is not super hard. With that said this is a razor grade finishing
stone and will out perform a wide swath of tomae strata stone but
I feel it is best used as a pre-finishing stone.
It is super fast cutting, it will blacken slurry abraded
from a Henckels Twin Works like nothing can phase it.
A handsome stone with a raked sand garden pattern around
the edges, spots of nashiji in the center field and three
solid filled nomazu inclusions that are softer and not toxic.
The back has a good example of the rutted kawa skin from
the Shobudani mine.
It will be shipped with a tested tomonagura.
The stone (toishi) has been lapped perfectly flat and the corners
and edges beveled unless otherwise noted. All of my stones
come with a money back guarantee minus the return shipping.
